Thief of Hearts Shakespeare

Thief of Hearts Shakespeare is what we believe, will be an outstanding Herd Sire of the Future.

Thief of Hearts Shakespeare is a Stud Male that we have bred and are extremely proud of. In 12 years of Breeding this is only the second Male we have certified from our own breeding.

Shakespeare has many wonderful traits that we are looking for to add to our Breeding programme, these include

• He is Big and Strong with a great presence
• He has a beautiful even fleece which is extremely even in colour and is the gorgeous golden fawn
• His 3rd Fleece is only 20 Micron with an amazing Handle
• His Fleece is Crimpy and he has excellent Density to go with this
• His current Fleece he is currently wearing (2010) is we believe is his best yet
• He has a fantastic nature and is a dream to work with – he has now settled a number of girls
• We have liked this boy from the minute he was born and we still like him
• His Mother would just about have to be our Best Female

Why do we like this male so much?

Well the answer is simple - We believe there are very few Stud Males in NZ as good as our own Males, but there is one that we have always liked and believe he is world class.

He is Cleopatra’s Sire “Cedar House Wool-maker 2”  and Cleopatra is Shakespeare’s Dam and so the combination of all these great animals in his Pedigree – (see below ) is why we believe he will breed extremely well.

 Shakespeare

Shakespeare’s Showing Record:

As a Junior he was only ever beaten once (his first show actually) and him and Hamlet won every Sires Progeny contest they entered.

He continued to win his classes as an Intermediate.

As a senior he started to shine a little more where he has picked up two Championships at his last two shows, Kumeu and the Auckland Easter 2010.

Shakespeare has not yet taken out a Supreme but mainly because of Hot Gossip, Magnate and Suntory who are also in our Show Team.

This does not detract in any way how we feel about this Male as we believe he will produce outstanding Cria.

Shakespeare’s  Service Fee: $1,000.00 + GST

We are putting Shakespeare over females that need density and fineness. We have been mating him to mostly coloured females to fix in his wonderful golden colour.

We think he will breed better than his Sire “Banksia Park Samuri ET” and Sammy has produced some wonderful Cria, so this is a big ask.

Shakespeare now has females that have been scanned pregnant, so now we wait for the results which will be early 2011.

When he has Cria on the ground we will post them on this page.
