Black Velvet is sired by my male Gladiator and is out of Rosanna (Roan Grey). Black Velvet has a lovely soft fleece but could use a bit more structure (as could most blacks), she does have some crimp and her staples are long and soft and when joined with Samuri, we expect the bundling and a more advanced fleece type to appear.
We are hoping she will produce black or grey offspring once she starts her breeding life.
She is halter Trained and has a sweet nature. Black Velvet has a lovely quiet personality and is a dream to handle. Any black female, with a fleece as soft as this will be well sought after. We are confident she will breed nice cria in the years to come.
We believe Gladiator is one of the best males in the country. His first fleece was 19 micron and his next 5 fleeces were all 20 micron, he did not alter at all. What he offers his cria is long and very soft fleeces that do not blow out. All of his ofspring retain their finess. I can tell any of his offspring just by shearing them. His Sire Sommerset Peruvian Excellence was the finest male they found in Peru in the second shipment out of that country.

Although Cherry is registered as a Dark Fawn, she has changed a bit over the last year. She has a white Blaze down her forehead (this has not changed), but she has developed white spots throughout her fleece. We suspect she is turning into a roan grey as there is grey in her background.
She has a sweet nature and is halter trained. She will be mated to Samuri in June/July and her cria should be great. Cherry has been priced to reflect the uneven colour but she may throw grey offspring, which would make her a very good purchase for someone willing to take the chance.
Cherry is a fine fleeced animal which is evident from her fleece stats. Her fleece is very soft in handle with a very fine high frequency crimp. She grows a lot of it as well.
If she never had these spots, we would be asking a lot more for her.

I looked at her last fleece (in the bag) and I had forgotten how nice it was, the bag is full of long crimpy staples. The bundles are small and thin and the cria she is carrying will be exceptional. Her fleece type is what the Australian judges really like. This is why Classiques Cria have done so well in the show ring under Australian Judges.

Lord of the Rings was our best Show Team Suri Male this year. The competition was very high this year with 19 Junior males in his class at the Manawatu A&P Show.

he ended up winning Reserve Champion Junior Male and he went on to win a third at the New Zealand National Show.

He is a Back-cross one but has all the traits you would be looking for in a potential Stud male.

He does have a very small brown spot between his ears.

If you want to turn older Huacaya Females into Suri's, then thius boy could be your answer as a first up Suri Male. He is not expensive and worth a punt at this price.

Casey was the first Stud Male we ever bought. He is 100% Chilean and is a Blue Black Male.

We have been training Alpacas for 0ver 10 years now and there is still not an animal we have ever trained that has a nature as good as Casey.

He is nearly 11 years old and is still Jet Black, we never used him much as we went down a different track to the Chilean blood lines.

If you are just starting out, would like a Stud Male that has the quietest, friendliest nature in the world and want to breed Black or Grey animals, then Casey is the boy for you.

We have never offered him for sale, due to sentimental reasons, which is really silly as he could do some Breeder a ot of good. We will miss him.
